Lay’s was a big sponsor of the 2023 Women’s World Cup and this signals their continued commitment to investing in the Women’s game.
✌ Season 2️⃣ Kicks Off
We’ve made it simple to follow the Women’s teams on Insta:
The season kicked off on 13th October 2023.
All 56 games of the Women’s Premier League will be broadcast by Saudi Sports Company (SSC).
League winners qualify for the Asian Champions League.
The league is run by the Saudi Arabia Football Federation (SAFF) and funded by SAFF and the country’s ministry of sport.
The league is part of the Vision 2030 project led by Saudi’s crown prince Mohammed bin Salman, aimed at economic and social reform.
Vision 2030 seeks to diversify the economy, develop infrastructure, and improve education, with a significant focus on women’s sports as a part of this reform.
